Shift: Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week)
Schedule: No Weekends | No Call.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Travel Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 40-hour guaranteed outpatient travel assignment based in the Lancaster, NH area. This position assists healthcare providers with patient examinations, vital signs, immunizations, phlebotomy, and administrative clinic operations across regional family medicine clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients, record vital signs, take medical histories, and prepare exam rooms.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and perform blood draws and lab specimen collection.
- Assist providers during minor procedures and outpatient physical exams.
- Manage appointment scheduling, insurance pre-authorizations, referrals, and EMR documentation.
- Maintain clinic inventory, supply restocking, and strict infection control standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification: Active AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or national equivalent [REQUIRED]
- Life Support: Active AHA BLS Certification [REQUIRED]
- Experience: 1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience [REQUIRED] (Traveler experience preferred)
- Housing: Candidates must verify local housing options prior to submission due to regional lodging constraints [REQUIRED].
