Schedule & Compensation Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent / Direct-Hire Placement.
- Shift Schedule: Day Shift | Flexible between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Hours & Guarantee: 8 Hours/Day | 80 Hours per 2-Week Pay Period (Full-Time).
- Weekend Requirements: No weekends.
- On-Call Requirements: No call.

Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a permanent direct-hire placement at an outpatient clinic in Brooklyn Center, MN. The position focuses on managing patient flow, delivering supportive and delegated clinical care across all age groups (pediatric through geriatric), and collaborating closely with clinic providers, nursing leadership, and care teams.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Practice:
Clinical Care & Patient Flow:
- Rooming & Patient Prep: Execute standard rooming protocols, obtain vital signs, gather medical history, and manage patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Medication Administration: Administer immunizations, injections, and other routine medications under the direct supervision of providers and in accordance with state scope-of-practice guidelines.
- Specimen Collection & Lab: Perform phlebotomy, collect diagnostic laboratory specimens, and run point-of-care clinic laboratory tests.
Specialized & Administrative Support (Site-Specific):
- Patient Communication: Provide phone support, facilitate provider-patient communication, and assist with prescription refill requests.
- Clinic Operations: Order and restock clinical supplies, assist with prior authorizations, and provide front desk/check-in support as needed.
- Basic Diagnostic X-Ray: Perform basic radiologic procedures if certified/licensed as an x-ray operator in the state of Minnesota.
Qualification & Submission Requirements:
Option A: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) Candidates:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED [REQUIRED].
- Program Accreditation: Graduate of an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program OR graduate of an RMA program accredited by a national health services organization (e.g., AMT) with relevant clinical experience [REQUIRED; documentation required].
- Life Support: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [REQUIRED; documentation required].
Option B: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Candidates:
- State Licensure: Active, unencumbered Minnesota LPN license verified via Nursys at time of submission [REQUIRED; documentation required].
- Life Support: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [REQUIRED; documentation required].
