Schedule: Full-Time, Primarily Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Weekdays)
Weekend & Call: Rotating weekends and holidays; occasional on-call rotation

Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to join a regional healthcare team in the Salina, KS area.
The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations across multiple clinical settings, including the main radiology department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside/mobile environments. The position serves patients across the lifespan, from neonatal through geriatric.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging while maintaining excellent patient care, accurate positioning, radiation safety, and efficient digital imaging workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in acute, emergency, surgical, outpatient, and bedside settings.
  • Position patients accurately and select appropriate exposure factors for diagnostic-quality images.
  • Follow ALARA principles and established radiation safety and shielding protocols.
  • Operate stationary and mobile radiographic equipment.
  • Assist radiologists with specialized diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Enter, process, and archive imaging information using PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient safety, image quality, and professional practice.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active Kansas license for Radiologic Technology (LRT).
  • Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist.
  • Ability to work full-time day shifts with rotating weekend/holiday coverage and occasional on-call responsibilities.
Preferred:
  • Active ARRT (R) registration.
  • Recent graduate eligible for ARRT registry.
  • Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Previous experience in hospital, emergency, surgical, or bedside radiography.
